There is no doubt about it. shooting winter portrait can get a little chilly, then add fog to the equation and it seems unthinkable to venture out side. But I see it like this. the tree's are bare and there is still beautiful brown, orange and some green foliage carpeting the floor. you have a good 75% chance that the sun is not beating down on your face, plus you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn or wait to the sun drop's to get the perfect images. You might have to wrap up warm, but I think it's well worth it because the images are just so beautiful.
